ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend services using Java or other object-oriented languages.Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline management and deployment workflows.Automate manual processes to improve system efficiency and reliability.Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning and daily standups.Own tasks end-to-end, from requirements to deployment and support.Essential Skills5–7 years of experience in software development.Strong proficiency in Java or similar object-oriented languages (e.g., C#, C++).Exposure to DevOps practices and full software delivery lifecycle.Experience working in Linux/UNIX environments and writing SQL queries.Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly on new systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Generative AI or Large Language Models (LLMs).Scripting experience in Python or Perl.Familiarity with tools like Oracle SQL, HTML, Mason, or Perl CGI.Work Environment

This role offers a dynamic and collaborative setting where you'll be part of an agile team that operates on two-week sprint cycles with regular planning sessions and daily standups. You'll work on-site five days a week in a fast-paced environment that values independence, initiative, and problem-solving. Team members are expected to take ownership of their tasks, from initial requirements through to implementation and support, with access to peers and resources for consultation when needed. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $60.00/hr.
