The Fusion Applications Cloud Services team is building a next generation cloud platform that supports the most fast paced mission-critical customer requirements, operating at global scale to provide a secure, distributed, multi-tenant cloud environments for Fusion and other Oracle applications.

This is your opportunity to be a core part of the team that defines and delivers exciting new capabilities for Oracle’s flagship Fusion Applications Cloud Services space. We are seeking a candidate with strong software development and/or system engineering experience in platform level products or services.

In this role as a Data Engineer, you will lead the identification, analysis, and design of highly complex new and existing systems by analyzing data, conferring with subject matter experts to define requirements and objectives, and evaluating the feasibility of proposed new solutions. You will appraise the practicability of enhancements to existing systems and proposed new systems, and recommends solutions. This position is responsible for making technical decisions in systems architecture, including development and maintenance processes.

You will lead and coordinate efforts between cross-functional teams to develop best-in-class capabilities for the service. You will be expected to assess appropriate trade-offs to optimize customer experience, time-to-market, and to clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal stakeholders and remote teams. 

The right candidate will possess a strong technical background in Oracle Cloud Technology and Services, an ability to design and implement technical architecture based on business requirements and technical strategies.
