Barclays Services Corp. seeks Software Developer in Whippany, New Jersey (multiple positions). 

Perform technical analysis, requirement gathering, technical development and process improvement works for Barclay’s systems.Utilize agile practices for different onboarding projects, accounting functionalities, FED reporting mandates and system improvements.Follow IT service management processes including incident management, problem management and change management and able to support UAT and product escalations.Support the product vision to continue to allow the E2E change tooling to be a one stop solution for all change data.Work in collaboration with other teams to achieve business objectives and Collaborate with other developers to build efficient technical solutions.Work with the Java platform and technologies, and be directly involved in development activities on listed technologies, realizing requirements to deliver technical and functional artifacts.May telecommute.

Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
