The IT Department is seeking a motivated Software Developer who will be based out of a MO office. This position will be part of an agile team working on a project backlog for custom applications and websites.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Development using Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services, HTML, JavaScript, ASP.Net, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, and WordPress.Participate as a member of an Agile team to complete support requests and enhancement projects as well as technical analysis, design, development, unit testing, patch testing, and QA testing.Follow software development standards and change control process.Must have the ability to write readable, maintainable, and efficient code.Must embrace a service-oriented mentality with a high sense of ownership in fielding requests and resolving issues.Creating reliable configuration and technical system documentation for the purposes of knowledge transfer, improving software quality, and minimizing support costs.Must have the ability to integrate with third-party platforms and Web services/APIs.Working with vendors, as necessary, to implement solutions and complete projects.Performing installations and upgrades, providing support, and troubleshooting system issues during office hours and after hours, as required by the business. Qualifications High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field OR equivalent combination of relevant education and experience required.Five or more years of related experience required.JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development is a plus.Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills.Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office 365 applications.Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.Experience and/or training with relational database required.WordPress experience preferred.Microsoft SQL database experience preferred.Prior experience using HTML/HTML5, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, JSON, XML, and CSS/CSS3 is preferred.Experience with manufacturing systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, customer relationship management (CRM), or e-commerce is a plus.
