Coding Sample

In addition to submitting the application/resume, we are asking candidates interested in the position to provide a zipped Visual Studio solution to dan@hireitpeople.com that implements the following requirements.

 

Build a small ASP.Net MVC application written in C#. The application should allow a user to count letters pasted from the clipboard. The output should state how many instances of each letter were encountered, as in 'a' - 10 times, 'b' - 6, etc. They should not spend more than 2 hours on this.

 

Focus should be on the following

2. Usability

3. Code Clarity

4. Algorithm efficiency
