Responsibilities:
-Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
-Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define app requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
-Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using Swift, Kotlin, and/or Java.
-Integrate third-party services and APIs, such as Firebase, payment gateways, and analytics tools.
-Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure a seamless user experience.
-Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development and propose innovative solutions to improve products.
-Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
-3+ years of hands-on experience in iOS (Swift, Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin, Java) app development.
-Solid understanding of mobile app architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or Clean Architecture.
-Experience with publishing applications on the App Store and Google Play.
-Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative workflows in Agile/Scrum environments.
-Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Nice-to-Haves:
-Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
-Background in performance optimization and memory management for mobile apps.
-Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment.
-Exposure to GraphQL APIs and advanced mobile app testing frameworks.
-A strong portfolio or examples of apps you’ve developed or contributed to.
The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $120,000 - $140,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
