Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Software Developer in Chicago, Illinois. This role operates within the financial industry and will involve the development and maintenance of .NET applications. Responsibilities include: • Developing software solutions using .NET Core • Collaborating with a small team to participate in standups and meetings • Applying Domain Driven Design principles to software development tasks • Handling GitHub for version control and code collaboration • Implementing Rest API for the integration of different systems • Utilizing AWS Core Services for cloud-based solutions • Engaging in Backend Development tasks using C++ • Using Atlassian Jira for tracking and managing projects • Developing and managing APIs for seamless data exchange • Applying Agile Scrum methodologies for efficient project management • Using Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications • Employing ASP.NET for server-side web application development. Requirements • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is a must. • Demonstrated experience in Backend Development. • Familiarity with Bug Tracking tools. • Extensive knowledge in C++ programming language. • Proficient in using GitHub for version control. • Experience in AB Testing. • Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies. • Understanding and experience in Ajax. • Proven skills in API Development. • Proficiency in ASP.NET is required.
