Description We are offering a contract for a Software Developer role in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry based in ROCHESTER, New York. In this position, you will be expected to contribute to our IT team by assisting in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our enterprise applications. Responsibilities: • Utilize skills in C# and related technologies to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications. • Work on the development and upkeep of web applications using ASP.NET and .NET Framework. • Employ T-SQL queries to interact efficiently with databases, including writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting these queries. • Make use of Git for version control and engage in code repository management, including branching and merging strategies. • Aid in the collection and analysis of business requirements to implement effective software solutions. • Take part in code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices. • Debug and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain system stability. • Stay informed about new tools, frameworks, and best practices to contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Requirements • Proficient in utilizing GitHub for version control and collaboration • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with ASP.NET for web application development • Proficiency in C Sharp Programming (C#), with the ability to write clean, scalable code • Strong skills in T-SQL - Transact-SQL, with the capability to write complex queries and stored procedures • Previous experience in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industries is preferred • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve software bugs • Excellent communication skills, being able to clearly explain complex technical issues to non-technical team members • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
