*Description:* The Montana Public Employee Retirement Administration (MPERA) agency is committed to providing secure and sustainable retirement benefits to nearly 60,000 members and retirees. The agency administers nine defined benefit retirement plans and is dedicated to customer service, member education, and operational efficiency. As a member of the agency’s Information Systems Bureau,*this position will support the business bureaus two-fold through setting up, managing, and maintaining DevOps processes as well as developing software to meet customer needs.*Duties involve assisting agency business-side employees in defining user requirements, designing application architecture and functionality, developing application code in.NET/C#, and implementing applications.The ideal candidate will be familiar with the DevOps process and will have knowledge of setting up and managing software development environments, code repositories and deployment pipelines. In addition, duties will include**answering customer questions and troubleshooting customer issues.
