The*Montana Department of Transportation (MDT)*is recruiting for a*/Software Developer./*Working in a multi-project environment this position will oversee (organize, direct, review, and approve the work of others in the performance of) or perform all tasks necessary to design, construct, and implement custom-built computerized systems and applications for the Montana Department of Transportation. During the systems analysis phase of a project, the incumbent will use or adapt as necessary the most current systems analysis, and design methodologies from computer science including methods of gathering business requirements and business process analysis to effectively determine the requirements for a new system or the changes to be made to an existing system. The incumbent may recommend to the customer changes in the business processes based on the business analysis and predictive gains in efficiencies. Once the requirements have been documented, he or she will direct a team to translate the requirements into computer algorithms, write, test, document and implement the necessary programs. The experience must include 1-3 years each of Esri project (team or project leadership) experience, team or project leadership and database schema development. The experience must include 4 years each of Esri project (team or project leadership) experience, and database schema development.
