Operations Central Team - Application Development and Support (OCT ADS)Our department focuses on improving Micron's manufacturing capability by encouraging innovation, accelerating the best ideas, and keeping a focus on eliminating waste and inefficiency. We are a central organization driving improvement and excellence at Micron's global manufacturing sites. This often includes developing software that enables senior leaders and engineers to make informed decisions, and implement the best practises without error. We develop, deploy, and maintain applications that support our departments goals. We use agile methodologies, partner with other IT teams, and enjoy a safe, collaborative, and innovative work environment. As a software developer on this team, you will develop and support primarily web-based and internal-facing applications.Responsibilities IncludeParticipate on an agile team of software developers, working as a team towards project requirements and schedulesUse modern tools and frameworksDevelop, test, deploy, and support software systems to Microns global network of manufacturing facilities.Develop web user interfaces using AngularDevelop full stack solutions using primarily Angular, C#, and SQLExpand your knowledge by learning new skills and toolsQualificationsBasic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and memory devicesExperience in all phases of the software development lifecycleAbility to communicate effectively with global partnersBachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field of studyMinimum 4 years of IT experience and 2 years in web development.Preferred ExperienceExperience developing user interfacesExperience developing web applications using JavaScript frameworks.Experience with API development and consumptionExperience using cloud frameworks. Azure experience is most preferred.Ideal language competency is C#, SQL, Angular, JavaScript
