You are a skilled Software Developer with demonstrated experience building reliable, large scale applications. You can complete assignments independently or in a team environment. You are skilled in the use of current programming languages and tools and generally act as a team resource on custom development initiatives. What you'll do:As a Software Developer at Geotab on the infrastructure team you will be part of a team who are responsible for ensuring the reliability of our application. We achieve this by leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance availability and scalability. Our work is project-based and highly collaborative, involving a diverse group of roles and cultures to meet the demands and expertise required.
We are currently searching for a highly motivated Software Developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Our key areas of ownership include mission-critical components of the application, such as our reverse proxy, as well as significant integrations that the main application relies on to function.
While we are not a DevOps team, our focus is on ensuring that our application can seamlessly run in different environments and configurations. Most recently, we have been working on distributing the monolith within Kubernetes. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with many key stakeholders within the organization, providing immense opportunities for growth.
