Our team, Physical Stores Advertising, focuses on developing engaging advertising products for customers that shop at physical stores, such as Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and Amazon Go. Our Team:
We own building, launching, and commercializing innovative ad products in-store and do not shy away from technical challenges. Our team is responsible for full-stack implementation and integration of new advertising products, which power the ad content, targeting, and attribution across our advertising network with physical stores. We utilize the latest in cloud technology to build out products supporting custom experiences, both in browser and on mobile platforms, using custom hardware and android operating systems.

Key job responsibilities
In this role you will deal with mostly JVM-based backend services, React/JavaScript single-page applications, various persistence technologies such as DynamoDB and RDS, and exciting specialty technology specific to physical stores. This is a large initiative that spans across multiple existing and to-be-formed engineering and product teams within the Advertising organization.

The ideal candidate has experience in building software systems, communicating with stakeholders to collect technical design requirements to drive product features, and has sharp analytical abilities and design skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
