Software Developer II
Location: Ontario, Canada (Remote)
Position Summary
Bentley is seeking a talented Software Developer II to join a distributed team of Developers that are fanatical about writing quality, modern C# code to transform and modernize components of one highly valuable product in the industry called ProjectWise.
ProjectWise is an industry leading software facilitating Infrastructure Project Delivery like nuclear power plants, oil refineries, factories, airports, roads, railways, tunnels, bridges etc.
ProjectWise addresses the need for engineers to safely store and efficiently collaborate on their Digital Twin representing infrastructure projects.
We will rely on you for the following:
Contribute to the entire software development life cycle, from planning, designing, and architecting to implementation and maintenance.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop highly scalable cloud-native web services using C#.
Research new, related technologies and contribute to evolving future generations of our products.
What You Bring to The Team:
Proven experience as a C# developer with a strong understanding of modern software development practices.
Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, including microservices architecture and containerization.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
Proficiency with data structures and databases.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
(optional) Experience with message brokers (ex. Apache Kafka, Azure Service Bus) and eventual consistency architectures.
