What success looks like in this role:
This role is for students who are due to complete year 2 of a degree that offers a 'sandwich placement' in year 3 of the.
Placement start July 2025 through July 2026
Location: Based at Home – commutable to Manchester Piccadilly 2-3 days a week
Role Purpose
The chosen candidate will undergo initial induction training as a group and then be deployed onto project work as part of the development support team. They will work closely with both on and off-shore internal teams and directly with clients. This will include client site visits. The associate will perform productive work throughout most of their placement year and contribute to the success of the ePortal program.
Key Responsibilities
Working in software development team in a commercial environment on financial software for UK Financial Institutions. Candidate will be part of a technical team developing and supporting incremental banking solutions. The roles will involve liaising with colleagues at all levels including System Designers, System Testers and subject matter experts.
