Job Description:

Parsons is looking for qualified candidates to intern with us during the summer of 2025! Qualified candidates will be required to participate in an Agile Scrum development life cycle including design, peer review, test support, and documentation of software. Our development team works closely with US Government customers and internal digital signal processing engineers and analysts in support of US National Defense requirements. Successful candidates must be creative, self-motivated, dedicated, and capable of operating in a quick-reaction development environment to solve complex problems.

This position can be done out of our Denver or Colorado Springs offices.

Software development interns will focus on the following areas:

    Software development    Database design and APIs    DevSecOps    Automated system & software configuration    Technical writing and documentation

To be qualified, you must meet the following:

Enrolled in a four-year accredited university (junior/senior status preferred)    US Citizen    Willing and able to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance

Familiarity with some or all of the technical skills below:

    Python, Java, and shell scripting (Bash)    Windows and Linux operating systems    Source control systems (e.g. GitHub) and practices    Relational and non-relational databases    Cloud computing environments    Kubernetes and DockerCoding frameworks such as SpringBoot or Angular

Majors include:

Computer Science    Software Engineering    Computer Engineering    Data Science

Salary Range: 

$21.44 - $37.55
