You will design, code, and test solutions for IBM Z platform, that use programming languages including Java, C/C++, Assembler,Python PL1.You would also be involved in process automation and code deployment using top of stack scripting languages and tools. **Required technical and professional expertise** * 3-5 years of experience in in Java development , experience working with the Eclipse platform. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement software solutions. * Experience with SCMs like Git and IBM Engineering Workflow Management * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. * Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. * Passion for learning and staying current with new technologies and trends in Java development and the Eclipse platform. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience with VS Code and building VS Code Extensions is a plus but not mandatory * Experience and Proficiency in scripting with a solid grasp of its syntax and tooling. * Familiarity with z/OS systems is a plus but not mandatory. * Experience with cloud-based development platforms (e.g., IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure). * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum). * Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python). * Prior experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic development environment.
