Overview:
We are seeking a Software Developer to develop, test, and enhance software solutions in a high-security environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, debugging, and integration, along with a solid understanding of business applications, user requirements, and security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop, code, test, and debug new software solutions and enhancements to existing software.
+ Understand and apply user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements in software development.
+ Work with technical staff to identify and resolve software issues effectively.
+ Address and resolve customer complaints and suggestions for software improvements and enhancements.
+ Assist in the development of software user manuals and documentation.
+ Design, test, and implement desktop solutions, ensuring security lockdown compliance.
+ Integrate applications with standard software packages and automated patching/deployment technologies.
+ Automate application and configuration deployments and updates to improve efficiency and security.
+ Provide documentation and training on software integration, security, and deployment processes.
Required Qualifications:
+ Active Top Secret Clearance (required).
+ 3+ years of experience in software development, debugging, and integration.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
+ Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or similar languages.
+ Experience with software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
+ Knowledge of security best practices and implementation in software development.
+ Understanding of automated patching, deployment technologies, and software lifecycle management.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in a classified or DoD environment.
+ Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
+ Knowledge of desktop security lockdown implementations.
+ Experience with automation tools for software deployment.
