Description We are offering a contract for a Software Developer L3 position in the automotive industry. This role is based in Torrance, California and allows for a hybrid work model, with the candidate expected to visit the office occasionally. Job Description: Daily Tasks Performed: + Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js, Java, and Python. + Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices. + Utilize AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.. + Adhere to best practices to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. + Engage in troubleshooting and debugging for optimal application performance. + Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. + Show proficiency in Node.js, Java, and Python. + Display strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks such as React or Angular. + Display familiarity with database technologies including SQL, NoSQL. + Exhibit knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Responsibility and Involvement: + Engage in Development Unit Testing. Position Success Criteria: + Ensure timely and high-quality completion of web applications and services. + Adhere to best practices while writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. + Show proficiency in diagnosing and fixing bugs or issues to ensure optimal performance. + Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. + Stay updated with the latest technologies and integrate them when appropriate. Requirements Must-Have Skills: Backend Development Skills: + Proficiency in Node.js, Java, and Python for developing and maintaining web applications. + Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices. Frontend Development Skills: + Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript. + Proficiency in frameworks like React or Angular. Cloud Services Skills: + Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS. Database Management Skills: + Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL Databases. DevOps Skills: + Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
