We are currently seeking a Software Development Analyst to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Alert Handling Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing alerts from various systems, investigating potential issues, and escalating them to the appropriate teams for resolution. This role requires the ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and respond quickly to mitigate risks and disruptions.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and review alerts generated by various monitoring tools (e.g., Azure monitoring, ELK, Splunk etc.,). Follow existing available standard operating procedures (SOP) for alert management and response. Ensure timely resolution or escalation of alerts to the appropriate teams (e.g., IT, security, engineering). Provide regular updates on ongoing incidents, including communication with stakeholders. Work closely with other teams to identify and mitigate recurring alert patterns. Collaborate with technical teams to optimize alerting systems and reduce false positives. Participate in root cause analysis and post-mortem meetings after major incidents. Assist in improving alert handling processes and workflows.Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with incident management and monitoring tools (e.g., Azure monitoring, ELK, Splunk etc.,). Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with ITIL or other incident management frameworks is a plus. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting alerts and responses.Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, etc.). Experience with scripting or automation tools to streamline alerting processes. IT certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ITIL, or other relevant certifications.#LI-LATAM
