We focus on transforming how Software Developers and DevOps engineers build and manage cloud applications for enterprise customers using Oracle technologies. You are the builder here. We're looking for a Director of Engineering with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in security, distributed systems, cloud computing, databases and building highly available data services. You should be a strong SW Engineering leader with a proven track record and expertise in software design and development of services and their capabilities within a large-scale cloud. You must have a proven ability to identify and execute on the deliverables you set. 

The ideal candidate is an expert in modern security engineering and has experience building tools and services that enable a built-in secure by default approach. You will collaborate with stakeholders in our Security and Compliance organizations to own our global compliance story by working with peers to implement standards, build automated evidence collection systems, software systems that enforce standards, and more.

You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn. You will direct and ensure the implementation of operational policies through other managers, interact internally and externally with executive management involving negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy.
