Position Specific Description

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Angular and AWS technologies. The candidate should have strong experience with TypeScript, GitHub, and Jira, and possess some familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) or chat-based technologies like ChatGPT.

 

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using Angular and AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define and develop new features. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards. Utilize TypeScript to enhance code quality and scalability. Manage code repositories using GitHub, ensuring timely and accurate commits and code reviews. Track project progress and manage tasks effectively using Jira. Conduct regular testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of applications. Collaborate in the integration of LLMs and chat-based functionalities like ChatGPT into our applications, providing innovative solutions and enhancing user experience. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to the continuous improvement of our applications.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Software Engineer, specifically in developing applications with Angular and AWS. Strong proficiency in TypeScript. Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration. Familiarity with project management tools like Jira. Knowledge or experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) or chat-based technologies such as ChatGPT. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience with other front-end technologies and frameworks. Knowledge of back-end development and APIs. Understanding of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. Experience in the energy sector or a related industry.

Job Overview

This position writes and tests software to aid in development and support of products.  Individuals in this role work with Technical Leads on software system architecture and module design and typically gains experience acting as the owner of a complete module in the system.  This position participates in required product development process ceremonies.  Employees in this role are responsible for writing and refining technical requirements and technical design documentation.
