Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

Key job responsibilities

- Architect and implement robust services utilizing AWS technologies and Java, focusing on scalability and reliability for satellite preparation systems.
- Create and maintain sophisticated developer tools in Python, streamlining the process of satellite preparation through our custom services.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional software and hardware teams to integrate and deploy the majority of Kuiper organization's software into satellite systems, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance.
- Design and develop secure, cutting-edge solutions, maintaining a strong emphasis on cybersecurity best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
