A financial firm is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join their team in Cincinnati, OH or New York, NY.

Compensation: $150-200k

Responsibilities:

Design and implement client-facing UI features using React Provide solutions on time with high quality, scalability, and maintainability Work closely with the Team Lead, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders to define the scope of work and provide estimates for use in planning efforts Utilize development best practices, such as the automation of frontend unit and integration testing Develop scalable code for microservices endpoints to match API specifications

Qualifications:

A passion for broad software development process, UX and design patterns and its technologies Problem-solving, identifying opportunities, and listening skills to come up with creative solutions and strategies Understanding of various coding methods and computer languages Can sit in their Cincinnati or New York office

Skills:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent 2-4 years of experience with React framework and browser-based application development 2-4 years experience in an Agile team environment using JIRA, CODA and other tools Experience in full SDLC; Familiar with tools like github, CI/CD, etc. Proficiency in creating UI architectural design for gradually complex designs Ability to adapt designs for iterative implementation to meet constrained delivery timeframes #LI-JS1
