Application layer telephony issue analysis and support to root cause any issues related to data or throughput. Data performance issue analysis and support root causing the issue to specific component and work with dev team to resolve them. Call performance issue analysis and support debugging VoLTE, VoNR related issues. Carrier/Lab/field issue analysis and support with resolving these issues efficiently by identifying unique root causes or duplicates. Overall cellular protocol stack issue analysis / development and support which improves overall health of the product. Analyzing performance issues and driving Protocol/RF/L1 architectural improvements for future Apple cellular product lines with emphasis on improving the overall user experience in terms of performance. Responsible for diagnostics, analytics, crowd sourced information, lab/field log analysis as well as code/architecture review to exploit the opportunities for improvement. Working cross functionally with platform architecture, standardization, firmware/protocol development, system test, Field Test, QA and carrier engineering teams to drive the enhancement proposals from concept to commercialization. Developing advanced system evaluation and debugging capabilities towards efficient rootcausing and Impacting iPhone user experience worldwide. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $140,793 - $204,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
