What You'll Do As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will design, developing integrations between Avalara and Oracle applications. You will be asked to have a background in integrating business applications using multiple integration tools, with additional experience in ERP systems being a significant advantage. What Your Responsibilities Will Be Responsibilities: Experienced in using multiple integration technologies and frameworks. Design integration solutions using JavaScript. Collaborate with teams to gather and analyze integration requirements. Develop and consume REST and SOAP APIs to facilitate system communication. Ensure the and reliability of integration solutions. Promptly troubleshoot and resolve integration issues. Document integration processes and solutions for future reference and team collaboration. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Proficient in JavaScript, with knowledge of TypeScript being an added advantage. experience with REST and SOAP APIs. Familiarity with JSON and XML data formats. Understand of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT. Ability to work with version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience reviewing code to find and address potential issues and defects. Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners. What You'll Need to be Successful Qualification: Total Experience: 5+ years Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments Experience deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments Experience in API development using NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript Previous experience in a similar integration role. Experience building and consuming Restful APIs Certification in relevant integration technologies.
