Amazon Business team is seeking Software Development Engineers who want to disrupt the way businesses purchase online. You will be part of a team that is responsible for all aspects of the customer experience - from the visual interface to back end services. You will be working with new technologies that improve usability and increase performance and scalability. You will help redefine normal for this segment of the market. You will help translate business requirements to technical deliverables and deliver operationally stable solution that provide good customer experience. Candidates need to have ownership, passion to provide great customer experience, and excellent troubleshooting skills. Experience with building web-based applications and/or web services-based applications is desired. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
