Software Development Engineer - AWS Identity and Access
The AWS Identity team innovates, builds, and operates the identity and access management services to enable AWS customers run their business workloads confidently and securely in the AWS cloud. We enable customers to securely manage identities, resources, and permissions at scale. We operate some of the largest distributed systems in the world, processing over 400 million transactions per second.

Our mission is to provide an intuitive workflow for AWS customers to manage access their most critical workloads. As part of this mission, we use automated reasoning techniques to guide customers to set and manage appropriate access controls across all their AWS environments.

We are growing our team with individuals passionate about building products for all AWS customers that combine automated reasoning and machine learning. We are seeking a passionate software development engineer to build an AWS solution to help customers seamlessly improve the security of their cloud assets. We innovate in a highly technical space. You will work with a team to build solutions on a global scale, own systems end to end, and influence the direction of technology used by all AWS customers globally. In this role you can expect to contribute to and design components for flexible and scalable solutions, deliver customer-facing functionality, and lead projects using data analysis techniques. You will have the opportunity to drive mission-critical projects and collaborate with your team members to deliver impactful changes to AWS. As part of the team, you will collaborate with your peers, principal engineers, subject matter experts in the AWS Identity space, and product managers to innovate on behalf of customers.
