Position Overview

The Autodesk Developer Enablement Team enables internal and external developers to seamlessly integrate Autodesk solutions across Desktop and the Web.  We are seeking a motivated Sr. Software Engineer to join us in Bangalore, India, and be a part of our journey in building the next generation platform. You will be part of a team of diverse, smart, and driven engineers.  You will be responsible for architecting, designing, building, owning and delivering various components, services and frameworks, while collaborating with teams across multiple locations

Responsibilities

Design, build, test and release desktop clients, components, and frameworks

Align with team goals that connect to the wider organization goals

Mentor, guide and collaborate with other team members across geos

Minimum Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field

3-5 years of software engineering experience

Strong C++ programming skills and experience developing frameworks and applications

Ability to multi-task between complex projects

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent problem-solving abilities

Enjoys working collaboratively in a team with high trust

Experience with Scrum and agile processes will be a bonus

Technology stack: C++/C#/JavaScript/AWS for desktop/web development

Familiarity with secure engineering practices

Cross-platform development experience with Windows, Mac and Linux will be a bonus

You understand what it takes to build and support business critical desktop clients, components, services and frameworks

You have a passion for programming, CI/CD and automation

You are customer oriented, and drive towards addressing customer pain points

You believe in taking initiative, ownership and driving towards high standards

Operationally-focused Professional role, requiring experience OR analytical advisor role still developing higher-level expertise

Solve a range of problems of mild-to-moderate complexity and scope by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures.

Exercise judgement within defined guidelines or known precedents

Seek guidance on unusual situations or circumstances where guidelines are unclear

Receive a moderate level of guidance and direction, with little or no direction day-to-day assignments

Work is typically reviewed by a more experienced team member before it is provided to senior leaders

A common career stabilization point (AKA the “full-contributor” level) for operationally-focused roles, whereas analytical advisor roles at this level are building knowledge of the subject-matter area, function/BU, company, products, and customers
