In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic and infrastructure that powers our applications. You will work with developers to build utilities for the entire R&D organization to enhance the development pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable back-end services and APIs.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.
Who You Are:Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Back End Developer or similar role with proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, GraphDB).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment thanks to strong communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
Preferred Experiences:
Experience building monorepo CI/CD systems.
Experience building local user utilities.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
