Being part of an agile team as a software development engineer, developing cutting edge industrial automation systems for the customers from around the world- Software development activities for Foundational Services projects, including design, implementation, documentation and testing- Software design, implementation, unit tests, integration tests and release tasks in a multi-site, international software development environment- Contribution to solutions architectures, requirements elicitation and development processes improvement- Producing high quality project deliverables within planned time and effort- Conforming to Siemens processes, quality standards and guidelines
What do you bring along?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related areas- Proven 2+ years experience of Software Development- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills- Experience in DevOps pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI/CD) - Understanding of Linux Kernel, file system and driver concepts- Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker)- Understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V) is a plus- Preferably having experience in Linux image build systems (e.g. Yocto (BitBake), buildroot)- Experience in edge systems (e.g. Industrial Edge of Siemens) is a plus- Familiarity with real-time in Linux (e.g. preempt_rt)- Having agile mindset and experience in the mechanisms of software development including source control, repositories, Wikis, continuous integration- Good command of English

- Military service should have completed or deferred at least 3 years for male candidates- No restriction for travelling abroad
