We are hiring a Software Engineering Intern here at Trane Technologies. This role will work as part of the Customer Direct Service (C.D.S.™) Team focusing on a flagship proprietary software that Trane offers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that is in the process of revamping a long-standing successful technology. This position will be at our Trane facility located in La Crosse, WI. No relocation is available. It is full-time (40 hours per week) work over the summer months with the possibility of continuing part-time 15-20 hours per week during the school year. This is an ideal opportunity for a local student who is interested in developing Web Applications and API’s while utilizing the latest .NET technologies.

Currently enrolled in one of the following programs: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS (or related IT degree) is required.Competencies:
Understanding of the software development process. Understanding of productivity software & collaboration tools. Microsoft .NET Framework (C#). Web browser-based development experience (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Blazor). API technologies (OpenAPI, Swagger) Strong written and oral communication skills required with good interpersonal skills, ability to express concepts and ideas with clarity. Understanding of Agile practices.
