The ASBX Shared Software teams mission is to build a robust software supply chain that helps keep shared software up-to-date. The shared software underpin the Amazon software ecosystem by providing functionality that is shared broadly across teams and services. As the SDM for this team, you will work with a wide variety of stakeholders and customers that includes the Amazon security org, Open Source Program Office, as well as software builders and leaders across Amazon. Your teams roadmap will have cross company impact.
AWS has the most services and more features within those services, than any other cloud provider–from infrastructure technologies like compute, storage, and databases–to emerging technologies, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, data lakes and analytics, and Internet of Things. AWS Platform is the glue that holds the AWS ecosystem together. Whether its Identity features such as access management and sign on, cryptography, console, builder & developer tools, and even projects like automating all of our contractual billing systems, AWS Platform is always innovating with the customer in mind. The AWS Platform team sustains over 750 million transactions per second.

You will manage a team of developers working on products and services that make it easier to manage shared software upgrades and upkeep in Amazon. As the SDM for this team, you will work with a wide variety of stakeholders and customers that includes the Amazon security org, Open Source Program Office, as well as software builders and leaders across Amazon.
