We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead the team responsible for integrating Rufus, Amazon's new AI-powered shopping assistant, into Alexa. Rufus leverages Amazon's product catalog and multiple information sources to answer customer queries, make product recommendations, and enhance product discovery. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering and science teams behind Rufus to adapt its capabilities for Alexa users, drive technical innovation in AI-enhanced shopping experiences, and lead the integration of Machine Learning and Generative AI technologies into Alexa's shopping features. Your efforts will be crucial in revolutionizing the Alexa shopping experience, creating seamless interactions between customers and our AI shopping assistant. Importantly, you'll also foster the professional growth and career development of your engineering team.
