Software Development Manager

Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

      You should be hand-on and comfortable to deep dive into technology and will be responsible for design, code reviews, debugging and suggesting improvements. Key responsibilities of the technical manager include - delivering roadmap items, collaborating with Product owners, managing scrum as well as sprints, participating in technical design & solution discussions, engaging with integrating product teams. In addition to technical management, Development manager is also required to manage, coach and guide team members. Engage and motivate teams in delivering organization goals.

Experience/Educational Requirements:

4-year Bachelor's degree (B.E/B.Tech) required. Higher education in Computer Science preferred 12+ years of software engineering(development) experience covering any UI frameworks like Node JS, Angular, Typescript, Backend exposure to Java, Spring, JMS, relational databases and SQL and scripting like python scripting. Strong database exposure, Big data ecosystem not limited to Kafka, Spark, CDAP. Hands on Docker and Kubernetes technologies for development and deployment. Experience on GIT, CI/CD pipeline and build tools like Maven. Cloud Native Technologies 3+ years of experience recruiting, managing and coaching high quality software engineering teams Experience in a leadership role, with demonstrated success in building and establishing a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Collaborate seamlessly with distributed development teams in multiple locations, Product Management, Release Engg and Program managers A deep understanding of software development in a team environment, and a track record of shipping software on time is required Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Proven track record of fast learning, innovation, strategic thought leadership and teamwork Ability to navigate large organizations, develop relationships and build network Play a pro-active role to make the customer successful by addressing customer queries and issues Own consistency and high quality in solution delivery Excellent analytical skills, professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required
