This is an exciting opportunity to learn how the industry leading Enterprise Asset life cycle management suite of products works and to learn from a large team of very talented engineers. **Your role and responsibilities** Your Role and Responsibilities * The IBM Sustainability Software business unit is seeking talented and motivated Software Development Manager to work on the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) family of products. * In this role as a Software Development Manager with Backend/Fullstack developer skills, you will closely collaborate with other developers, UX designers and product managers using Scrum agile methodology, to develop new product capabilities and enhance existing features of the MAS applications. You will be leading a team of 15 to 20 people software developers and give them technical and managerial directions. * This work will involve GenAI / Large Language Models related work and it;s expected to have some prior knowledge around this area This is an exciting opportunity to work on an industry leading Enterprise Asset Management suite of products, together with a large and international team of very talented engineers. **Required technical and professional expertise** * 12+ Years of experience * Personnel management * Customer facing experience including verbal and written communication and flexibility to accommodate customer's needs * Agile development methodologies * At least one programming language: Java, Python or JavaScript * SQL / NoSQL database technologies including Mongo, DB2 and Oracle * Git and Jira * good understanding of Kubernetes & Open Shift Your daily Job at a high-level will include (but not limited to), * Define with team, the best approach to develop a new functionality * Work with team on issues RCA. * Define and apply across the team the development standard. * Manage and Drive daily scrum calls * Support for hiring initiatives, Industry collaborations * Team Management * Performance management **Preferred technical and professional experience** * PMP ( Project management Professional) * CSM ( Certified Scrum Master)
