We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Development Technical Lead to join our team to provide technical oversight for software development. This role involves leading the software development team to perform, plan deliverables, and help teams monitor software performance. The Software Development Lead will also play a critical role in resolving customer complaints. This position requires up to 25% travel in and around the Maryland, Virginia, and DC area.

Responsibilities:

Acts as a technical expert in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or complex enhancements to existing softwareHeads and coordinates a team of Software Developers on a particular projectConfers with technical staff to understand and develop resolution of software problemsResolves customer complaints with software, and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancementsAids in the training of less experienced software development staff. Instructs, directs, assigns tasks to, and monitors the performance of assigned Software Developers working on the projectAssists in the scheduling and coordinating of projects and participates in the design phase of the projectMay participate in the development of software user manuals

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field or applicable work experienceSecret security clearanceEight years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in the government sectorLead software team in the production of efficient code specificationsSupervise the testing and development of software programsGather and analyze user feedback.

As a Software Development Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, optimization, and availability of infrastructures and systems.
