25WD86125Responsibilities: Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud based or Internet related computer programs. Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS, mobile apps or desktop applications products. Using current programming language and technologies, write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Develop high-level designs and implement high scalability web services to support millions of unique visitors. Collaborate with software architects, product designers, product managers, test engineers and others to implement high-quality web services. Thoroughly unit test, debug and solve defects in implemented software solutions. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation.

Special Requirements: Position requires at least 8 years of experience in each of the following skills:
Utilize knowledge of Java and J2EE technologies to develop an intranet/internet web application;
Utilize knowledge of code testing with JUnit and web interface testing via Selenium, alongside participation in production support for enterprise web applications;
Utilize knowledge of Java, Apache Hadoop & Hive big data processing framework, Pentaho, Tableau Web Analytics, Coldfusion, Vertica Column Oriented Database, Amazon web services, and Unix/Linux Operating System to design, develop and engineer data warehousing and web analytics applications for the entertainment and media industry;
Utilize knowledge of software design and architecture to provide insights to strategic plans, complete action plans and ensure production and quality standards;
Utilize experience with identifying trends, resolving issues and proposing system improvements to define infrastructure for internet computing systems and directing the development of physical databases;
Utilize experience with developing RESTful web services to integrate them with various clients.

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $206,315 - $250,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
