Software Engineer, Rotational Development Program

Your Title: Software Engineer

Are you looking to gain invaluable leadership experience and exposure to multiple areas within a business? Trimble offers a unique opportunity for a motivated recent graduate to be part of our Engineering Rotational Development Program. In this position you will have the opportunity to use your recently gained knowledge to rotate through four different positions within four different divisions, providing you vast opportunities and great company exposure.  At the end of this 24 month program, we will facilitate your post-program process by supporting you through finding the best position that suits your skills and business needs. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.

Rotations would generally include six-months spent in a mix of the following roles:

Test Engineer
DevOps Engineer
Systems Software Engineer
Machine Learning Engineer
Research and Development
Front-end UX/UI Design
Firmware Software Engineer
Software Product Manager

Rotations would generally include time spent in 4 of the following divisions:
Geospatial Field Software
Geospatial Office Software
Buildings (SketchUp/Architecture)
Civil Engineering and Construction
Trimble Data
Trimble Cloud
Trimble Autonomy Solutions

Education/Experience Required
BS or MS in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Programming ability in either C++, C#, and scripting ability (Ruby, Bash, Perl, Shell, Python, and/or JavaScript)
A minimum of one related prior internship or up to three years of relevant professional experience is required.

Preferred Experience
Experience with Windows and Mac platforms, Google Apps and Chrome, Firefox, Safari and/or IE browsers
Domain related experience or knowledge with computer vision, photogrammetry, 3D modeling, artificial intelligence, signal processing, image recognition, GNSS or similar
Familiarity with the Agile System Development Lifecycle
Recent leadership experience/involvement in university or elsewhere


New Zealand: Only applicants who are legally entitled to work permanently in New Zealand will be considered for this role.


Westminster, Colorado: Must be legally authorized to start in Westminster, Colorado in July 2025
