Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and enhance the software components in the assigned Software Engineering function in one or more of platform and application management. Each day, you provide accurate project schedule estimates and ensures their successful completion within the deadline. You will also showcase your expertise by demonstrating good proficiency in software engineering in their own area of competence.The work model for the role is: #hybridThis role is contributing to the Marine & Ports in Parañaque City; PhilippinesYou will be mainly accountable for:- Design, Develop, and Test API solutions and/or WPF .NET applications across the full web application stack - Function in a Scrum based Agile environment requiring the frequent release of production code - Assist QA engineers by writing automated unit and end to end tests- Design solutions for small to medium-sized complexity problems in a way that is simple and easy to understand and develop the solution in a maintainable way- Improving the team by actively participating in retrospectives and code reviews within the team
Qualifications for the roleStrong knowledge of C# with minimum 2 years of hands-on experience preferably in a corporate or R&D setting.Proficiency in .NET, MVVM Patterns, and UI Data binding would be an advantage.Experience working with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc. Hands-on experience composing OCI-compliant containers and orchestration using Docker and K8s.Hands-on experience developing for the cloud using infrastructure as code in Terraform and experience with developing services running in the AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure, and experience with React and the React ecosystem is a plus.Demonstrates the ability to independently recognize problems and provide input to solutions.Ability to look forward and see options and opportunities to modernize the products and services we develop. With that, it is important to learn rapidly and master innovative technologies and techniques quickly.
