**Responsibilities**
+ Design, build, produce and deliver software to improve the usability, reliability, scalability, performance, security and highly available infrastructure using Azure Networking services having independence, sense of ownership and drive for areas of ownership.
+ Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and automated deployment processes to support rapid and reliable software delivery.
+ Own the end-to-end reliability of the monitoring infrastructure of both control plane and datapath, driving proactive detection, diagnostics, and recovery for failures impacting network connectivity across Software-Defined Networking (SDN) Appliance stack
+ Proactively identify and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes to reduce operational toil. Perform hardware maintenance, including diagnostics, and recovery actions.
+ Collaborate with partner software engineering, product, and security teams to enforce best practices in system architecture, incident management, and service design.
+ Define and implement Service Level Objective (SLOs), Service Level Indicator (SLIs) and drive reliability-focused improvements aligned with customer impact.
+ Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and postmortem analysis to ensure continuous learning and resilience improvement.
**Qualifications**
**Required/Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or software/systems engineering roles working with Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)/Git-based workflows/scripting frameworks.
+ Experience operating Azure Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technologies and managing SDN appliances in production, with hands-on involvement in datacenter recovery and Azure control plane troubleshooting.
**Other Requirements:**
+ Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
+ Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
**Additional or Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
+ OR related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript,
+ OR Python
+ OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Experience with
+ Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and data center networking
+ Monitoring/logging platforms and strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills.
+ Understanding of system performance, incident response, and troubleshooting in production environments.
+ knowledge working with databases such as SQL/KQL etc.
