Software Engineer 2

What is the Role?

Are you passionate about writing code that makes a real difference in people’s lives?  Do you want to be part of a team where your work directly impacts the well-being of others? The Home Health and Hospice organization at Homecare Homebase, LLC (HCHB) is looking for Software Engineer 2 candidates.  We are currently designing and building modern micro service-based platforms in a Hybrid Cloud Environment to empower exceptional patient care. Our platform connects patients and caregivers to streamline the process of confirming, reminding, and following up on visits while reducing the load and stress on both clinicians and back office staff. 

 

What You Will Do

Design, write, and execute high quality code to translate and formalize business logic into solutions using industry standard development patterns and practices.  Develop front end web-based components with an eye for detail.  Write and execute on high level of unit coverage across your responsible projects/focus areas.  Work and collaborate with Senior Developers and Architects to drive code transformation (peer reviews, code reviews, SAFe planning) within the team. Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.  Have familiarity with modern software development and CI/CD practices (Git/Azure DevOps/Release Mgmt.).

What You Will Bring

2+ years’ development experience with C# and .Net stack overall preferred (preference given to recent experience with .Net 8 and above). 1+ years’ development experience with REST/Web API services preferred (preference given to recent experience with current frameworks/cluster/routing technologies such as Istio/K8). 1+ years’ development experience with relational databases (preference given to SQL Server 2017 and above). Preference for experience and comfort level working in a fast-paced Agile environment. Preference for development experience with Azure/Cloud technologies. Preference for development experience with Blazor.
