As a Software Engineer 3 at Asurion, you will be part of a team of 3-5 engineers as part of a cross-functional team. You will engineer solutions across our technology stack, including web, mobile, back-end, deployment pipelines and infrastructure. Your strong analytical and communication skills will help collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to solve problems and build world class solutions.ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/DUTIES: •\tActs as team lead for a small cross-functional team of analysts, developers, and testers delivering software solutions.•\tFocus on utilizing lean startup techniques to build world-class products •\tImprove engineering standards, tooling, and processes•\tWrite high-quality code and unit tests•\tAs part of a cross-functional team, engineer solutions across our technology stack, including web, mobile, and back-end.•\tPartner with product owners and design peers to take advantage of new technologies and continuously deliver value to the organizationSKILLS:Technical skills:•\tProficiency with our tech stack: TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Node.js, Angular, React, React Native, AWS, Docker, Serverless •\tExperience building web apps, mobile apps, or cloud- hosted services using modern technologies •\tExperience utilizing lean and agile methodologies to ship code daily •\tImprove engineering standards, tooling, and processes•\tWrite high-quality code and unit testsSoft/Leadership skills:●\tActive listener; strong communication - verbal and non-verbal.
