Belay Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer/Java Developer (SWE), who can support one of our programs in the intel community. The SWE will support our 10+ person task order, assisting the development of an enterprise-level application. The SWE develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems. The SWE shall be reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. The SWE shall also be utilizing software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
Seven (7) years’ experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph is required.Candidates should have the following qualifications:
Experienced with integrating existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.Experienced with developing simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.Able to provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.Able to develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.Have experienced with writing and reviewing software and system documentation.Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas.Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project.Experienced with Spring Framework/PythonExperience with Angular 6 or higherExperience with JavaScript/TypeScript/Java 8Experience with NodeJSExperience with SQL and NoSQL databasesExperience with Graphic DesignExperience with CSS/Web StylingPython Experience:

Salary Range: $70,000 to $ 190,000
