Your Role

Realtime Vision SW Engineer role sits within Aptiv’s new product organization, which will be at the forefront of transforming the auto industry with cutting-edge technology. In your daily job you will:

Analyze internal & external customer requirements to come up with a software strategy to achieve project goals.Create and document software design meeting requirements using UMLWrite robust and reusable high-level software code implementing Realtime vison features.Use C, C++, languages & Computer Vision skills to work  on  acquiring, processing, analyzing digital Image on a different of target platforms including PCs and embedded SoCs.Fixing and enhancing the camera calibration process.Develop, enhance & maintain OpenCV and Image processing pipelines for product development.Define unit tests and software test strategyEnsure all tasks are completed in accordance with industry quality standards

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field6+ years of experience writing software using C, C++ and/or Python3+ years of experience working in an Agile development team OpenCV development experience, Camera Calibration ExperienceFamiliarity with software development processes (CI/CD, Automotive SPICE) and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Polarion, GIT, etc.)Experience with Linux or QNX: configuration, command line usage, shell scripting, etc.Familiarity with software modeling in UML using tools such as Enterprise ArchitectExperience with machine learning, computer vision, image processing, and camerasPreferred algorithm Experience on Optical flow, SIFT,HOG, etc.
