What You Will Be Doing:

If you’re the kind of coder that loves parsing, transformations, regex, Xpath, traversing DOMS and creating innovative apps and scripts comsuming multiple APIs, then we have an amazing position for you. In this role you’ll be exposed to cutting edge linguistic technologies working alongside industry leading engineers, product managers and architects, in a culture of respect and openness. Responsibilities:

Create, maintain and improve file parsers which allow a variety of formats to pivot to and from bilingual XLIFFCreate, roll out and maintain standalone web applications which consume APIs from our core technologies such as GlobalLink Project Director and GlobalLink Translation Memory ServerDesign and develop innovative new functionality based on use cases from colleagues in the Solutions, Support Engineering, Product Management and Development teamsResearch possible solutions for identified gaps to streamline functionalityOwn and drive larger initiatives, including defining milestones and deliverables and progress reporting

Who We Are Looking For:
Your experience includes:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field Work experience in software development using Java and scripting languagesExcellent software troubleshooting skillsExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsGood knowledge of Java and PythonSome knowledge of regex and XpathSome knowledge coding against REST APIsStrong communication and organizational skillsFamiliar with JIRAGood working knowledge of LinuxAbility to manage and work on multiple projectsOutstanding time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently as well as being a team playerCuriosity about learning new skills
