Job Summary:

As a Software Engineer, you will:  Work with a team of software engineers to develop a wide variety of custom software applications and tools to help improve efficiency on the testing and analysis of Lexmark products. Identify gaps and opportunities that will increase efficiency and quality in firmware and software programs. Initiate and present proposals considering effort and measuring benefit of initiatives that will justify the investment. Will be an integral part of a scrum team developing and maintaining a unique set of tools to support the work within Research and Development. Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements and leverage development teams on knowledge and technologies that can help in your tasks. Provide support to end users of developed tools and automation. Top skills/qualifications we look for: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related courses. Development experience in Linux and Windows  Strong Python, Javascript and Web Application Development Experience In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. Postgre SQL, My SQL) Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Programming Understanding of Agile / Scrum development process Ability to develop implementation from design specifications Data visualization and analysis of various available data sets You’ll be a great fit into our team, if you: Are accountable and a solid team player Are a pro at communicating and collaborating Have the passion for innovation Driven towards operational excellence and continuous improvement
