Software Engineer

As our Software Engineer, you will be a project mover, working as part of an Agile team that supports and develops Travel systems for a large, multistate auto club.   

What You’ll Do

Every day, you will be expected to apply and share your previous experience with the rest of your team, taking ownership of problems and solutions and moving the projects forward quickly and correctly.

You have the aptitude and the experience not only to find solutions, but to find the right solutions for the problems at hand. You should be able to explain the solution and why it is the best one to people with less experience or technical knowledge.

You’re willing to learn from others, even the junior developers, and trade-off knowledge with members of your team.

What You’ll Need

Lead the migration of on-premise databases to AWS, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal downtime.

Perform data modeling, database design, and schema optimization in AWS.

Proficient in database development using MS SQL in OLAP/OLTP environments.

Proficient with ETL development, designing and developing data transformation solutions using a variety of SSIS components (ie. Control Flow, Data Flow, Transformations, Script components using C#).

Experience with Github version control.

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for deployments.

Confident in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, able to multi-task and manage expectations.

Good verbal and written communication skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Contribute to reliability, quality, security and scalability of applications.

A continuous learner who excels at solution driven problem-solving by using your analytical skills.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$104,400.00 - $139,200.00

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
