Job Overview:

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software applications for projects involving water resources. The SE will manage routine projects and support senior engineers in more complex projects. This role requires a solid foundation in software development and an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop software applications as part of a project team. Collaborate with senior engineers on larger, complex projects. Implement solutions that meet project specifications and client requirements. Perform routine software maintenance and updates. Ensure that software meets quality standards and follows best practices.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in computer science with a focus on software engineering and 3 years of experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in software development. Experience with water resource-related software development preferred.

Skills:

Proficiency in coding languages such as Java, Python, or C++. Experience in developing and maintaining software in a cloud environment. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
