As a Software Engineer you will design, analyze, and build software applications for Industrial Automation products and technologies. You’ll be employed for Emerson Innovation Centre, Pune (EICP)
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Develop software applications using best practices on an Agile team. Review teammate’s code Help plan & roadmap new features and functionality. Perform software quality assurance testing. Perform technical support activities as assigned. Assist with other project activities as assigned.WHO YOU ARE

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related engineering or science field Minimum 3 years of experience in software development Hands on experience with front-end languages (e.g., HTML5, XML, JavaScript, JSON, CSS, etc.) Working knowledge of version control (e.g., Git Version Control) Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, analysis, and design Experience with the complete software development life cycle and QA processes in an Agile environment Excellent software development skills Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills The ability to contribute to a team environment.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) Hands on experience with programming languages (e.g., C++, C#, Python, Java, etc.) Mobile Development Experience (iOS, Android, UWP) Xamarin/Xamarin.
